Saveurs & Anthocyanes is a wine cellar with a selection of wines, champagnes and spirits, which was opened in 2010 by Antoine Soave, a graduate of the prestigious Lycée viticole de Beaune.

Ideally located on Rue Gioffredo in a neighborhood comprised of a high concentration of local professions and businesses.

Its customer base is composed of 70% individual consumers and 30% business customers, while in 2009 the proportions were equal.

Saveurs & Anthocyanes distinguishes itself by its selection of natural wines, especially micro-cuvées (plots producing small volumes, less than ten thousand bottles).

The cellar is able to offer its customers a range of more than four hundred different products with prices that can satisfy all budgets, ranging from 6 to € 8,000.

One of the main reasons for its success is Antoine’s hard work and more specifically his unwavering need to get the job done properly.

Before becoming a wine merchant he worked as a winemaker. He had the opportunity to work in different vine vineyards: Chablis, Beaune, Chateau Neuf du Pape, Bellet, …

At the time he still had three stores he would wake up at 3 am to prepare his shops. He would handle the cleaning and the restocking of shelves. When his employees arrived everything was in place for the shop opening.

His efforts were regularly recognized in the press, as well as by his peers. In 2003 the Brotherhood of Bacchic Grumeurs de Santenay inducted him within their ranks, then in 2008 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Merit by the culinary gastronomic order of St Fortunat.

Today the staff, composed of two persons, provides its customers unique products in an original mix of traditional and contemporary atmospheres. The desire to preserve a friendly human sized store contributes to the friendly character of the bistro.

Customers who come Saveurs & Anthocyanes are wine lovers who appreciate quality wines and expect to discover new wines; this has been the strategy developed by Antoine since opening his first store.
